I hold an NVivo Core Skills Certificate from Lumivero (issued 2023). I have utilized NVivo extensively for qualitative research both during my time as a PhD student at Michigan State University and in my position as a Qualitative Researcher at the Tennessee Deparment of Health. I am also familiar with a variety of other qualitative analysis software, including ATLAS.ti, Dedoose, MaxQDA, and Quirkos.

I learned R early in grad school and use it extensively for quantitative analysis. I taught two sections of “Intro. to Political Analysis using R” and helped students learn statistical concepts.

I completed a multi-day Tableau Training at the Tennessee Department of Health in early 2024 and currently use the software to create new visualizations. Please see an example of a dashboard I created HERE.

I learned Stata in both my undergrad and graduate school years, and I use it on occasion for quantitative analysis.

I used SPSS during my time at Afrobarometer to analyze survey results.

I have used Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, and Alchemer for surveys. I learned survey design and analysis during my time at Afrobarometer and further developed my skills at the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) in Ann Arbor in 2018 and 2019.

I first learned ArcGIS in 2019 at the Institute for Qualitative and Multi-Method Research (IQMR) in Syracuse and have since received additional trainings at the Tennessee Department of Health in 2024. I will be utilizing it in 2025 for a health equity mapping project.
